Ever wish you could trade your office for the freedom of the outdoors?  Do you daydream of hiking rugged terrain instead of responding to endless, mind-numbing emails?  Then get ready for the adventure of your dreams in your very own Park Ranger VocationVacations holiday!

Your new work space for two days will be the Garden of the Gods Park in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado.  With the mentorship of Kent Taylor, an expert Park Ranger, you will get the chance to test-drive this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience nature in an educated and exciting way.

At a young age Kent discovered his love for the outdoors, which is a passion that has flourished into his adulthood.  Kent received his BA in Recreation Parks Management from Humboldt State University in majestic Northern California.  After graduation, Kent decided to explore the natural beauty our country has to offer when he took a road trip across the US.  Since then, Kent has spent his career learning about the environment, teaching outdoor education and working to protect the special places that the United States has to offer.

Kent has been a Park Ranger in Wyoming, Montana, California and Colorado, where he has done everything from monitoring the health of moose, deer and elk populations to developing Youth Conservation Corps programs.

Currently, Kent spends his days cherishing and welcoming visitors from all over the globe to the beautiful Garden of the Gods Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado, a National Natural Landmark that boasts 1.7 million visitors annually!

In his free time, Kent is an adventure traveler and professional photographer.  Not only will you get the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of being a Park Ranger, but Kent’s many adventures ranging from a 500-mile trek across Ireland to the time he spent the night in an abandoned Alaskan hotel will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Kent’s experience, zest for life and his love for the outdoors will inspire you.  So go on, let VocationVacations and Kent Taylor take you on the outdoor adventure of a lifetime!
