Bio:
Leslie B. Prager, M.A., C.M.P., is the founding partner of The Prager-Bernstein Group, a full-service career management firm founded in 1991. She is a former human resources director and vice president at a New York City insurance company, and has also held human resource positions in retail and banking.

During her tenure, she learned to understand and appreciate the challenges, difficulties and hardships faced by their employees, that surface during times of job loss, job change and career change.

Her corporate and counseling background, commencing with her receipt of an M.A. in art therapy, and her ongoing educational affiliation as the Coordinator of The Career Center at New School University, places her in the unique position of understanding the demands and needs of individuals, as well as in having the unique knowledge of how to develop the necessary programs to achieve their goals.

Ms. Prager is a frequent speaker and writer on career management issues, and has been seen on several television shows, and quoted in magazines and newspapers.

What Inspires Me:
My own life experiences continue to inspire me. Having begun my own career as a dissatisfied art therapist, I transitioned into human resources. Then, using all my prior experience in art therapy and human resources, I began my own career counseling and coaching firm, where I have achieved much satisfaction and success. Helping others now do the same with their lives, watching as they “find themselves” , and making a difference in their lives, continues to inspire me.

Unique Adventure Experiences:
Climbing Half Dome at Yosemite, sleeping under the stars on Crete,
helicoptering over an active volcano on Hawaii, hiking through a rainforest on Guadeloupe, and getting lost in the Casbah in Morocco.

Hobbies:
Travel, hiking, antiquing, photography.
