Coach Roberta Taylor

Mission:
What I most have to offer my clients is a passion for learning and growth, the wisdom and experience of my own journey, and the belief that realizing who we were meant to be comes with the desire and courage to step into our full potential. As a result we have the opportunity to live healthier, more satisfying and meaningful lives.

Bio:
VocationVacations Coach Roberta TaylorCertified Facilitator for the 2Young 2Retire Program (Howard and Marika Stone); Certified Life Blueprint Facilitator (Laura Berman Fortgang); trained by Peggy Huddleston as a facilitator for Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster. Former board member of ICF-NE; Life Planning Network board member; an organization committed to advancing life planning for the post mid-life bonus years. Over 25 years of experience as a psychiatric nurse clinical specialist, marriage and family therapist, manager, supervisor, administrator.

Interest:
My interests have turned to exploring the more creative aspects of myself, challenging old beliefs, expanding the parameters of possibility, and life balance; body, mind and spirit.

Favorite Saying:
Is the person you see in the mirror “who” you really want to be?  (One morning I was preparing to go to a networking meeting where I was to give a presentation on authenticity and integrity. As I looked in the mirror and thought about the message I wanted to convey, these words came to mind.)

A unique and gratifying opportunity in my life has been parenting my adopted son. The experience taught me so much about love, attachment, boundaries, and the ability to truly witness the unfolding of a beautiful human being.

Most Unique Adventure:
Several years ago I was invited to be part of a multi-disciplinary group of professionals consulting to developing health care systems in Moscow, Prague and Warsaw. Meeting with professional counterparts, visiting ill-equipped and poorly staffed hospitals, clinics, orphanages and schools opened my heart, my mind and my consciousness to the meaning of humanitarianism.
