Susan works with professionals on their career management and career transitions. She helps her clients understand and improve their choices, values, and life circumstances focusing on aspects of growth and change.

She also acts as a strategist, assisting a client to envision, design, and take action to improve their future. She provides coaching, consulting and training in Career Transition, Leadership Development, Work/Life balance, and Creativity in the Workplace. Susan assists her clients in designing the next life phase and offers the support and expertise needed to implement the created plan.

Susan is an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco. She facilitates creativity classes including the Artist's Way and Creative Life Planning and is an advocate for integrating life and work.

Susan often speaks at the International Career Development Conference on creativity in the workplace.

Susan holds a Master of Education degree in Career Education from St. Mary's College, a Post-Master's Certificate in Career Development from John F. Kennedy University, a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics from California Polytechnic State University, and is a Certified Professional Coach of the Hudson Institute.

Her professional certifications are numerous and current, and include National Certified Career Counselor (NCCC), Master Career Counselor (MCC), Career Management Fellow Practitioner (CMF), Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Registered Professional Career Counselor (RPCC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Career Development Facilitator Instructor (CDFI), Certified in Family and Consumer Sciences (CFCS), Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC) and is a Myers-Briggs Professional.

Susan has been involved in community affairs for the past 18 years, where she currently serves as President for the Bay Area Chapter of the Association of Career Professionals, International. She also provides leadership development and trainings for the Junior League of Oakland-East Bay.

Susan lives in Lafayette, CA with her family and many pets. She embodies the principles of work/life balance.

Most Unique Opportunity:
All of the things I have created in this life have been a unique opportunity from traveling to many exciting places in the world to being a parent of 4 teenagers.

Most Unique Adventure
:
Going to Belarus in 1992 to adopt a child just after the fall of communism. There was no American Embassy and very few people spoke English.
